In the previous tutorial, we discussed about Content-Aware Adobe Photoshop feature in a summary. It lets us repair or replace, more complex areas, and even multiple areas at once, simply by drawing selections around them and letting Photoshop do the rest!
In this tutorial, we will dive into more detail about Content-Aware by doing more examples, we will remove a spot in the face and try to remove the beards. We have explain and detail every steps to reach the results above, Photoshop CC 2017 did an outstanding job of removing it and filling the area with image detail as if the spot and beards had never been there, and all we had to do was draw a selection around it and choose Content-Aware from the Fill dialog box. Is it 100% perfect? Not quite.
You can also find Content-Aware Crop, a great new feature in CC that brings together two commonly used features (Crop and Content Aware Fill) to streamline your digital workflow. What Content-Aware Crop allows us to do is add more room around our photos. When I say “more room”, I don’t simply mean “empty space” like we might add if we were placing a border around an image. Instead, Content-Aware Crop can actually extend the boundaries of an image by filling empty areas around a photo with matching detail. This can be extremely useful when trying to crop an image after straightening it, or when you simply need to add more space above, below, or to the sides of your photo, maybe to make room for some text or to help the image fit better in a certain layout. We’ll look at examples of both of these situations in our next tutorial.
