How to Remove Removing Objects with Content-Aware Fill in Photoshop CC
Before | Content-Aware Fill in Photoshop CC

Content-Aware Fill introduced in Photoshop CS5 for the first time, it lets us repair or replace larger, more complex areas, and even multiple areas at once, simply by drawing selections around them and letting Photoshop do the rest!

In our photo above we want to replace the computer on the left hand side with the background color using Content-Aware Fill. The traditional way to remove the object would be with the Clone Stamp Tool, but let’s see if the Content-Aware Fill option in Photoshop CC 2017 can make the job easier for us.

We have explain and detail every steps to reach the results above, Photoshop CC 2017 did an outstanding job of removing it and filling the area with image detail as if the computer had never been there, and all we had to do was draw a selection around it and choose Content-Aware from the Fill dialog box. Is it 100% perfect? Not quite.

What we’re left with now is nothing more than a quick clean up with the standard Healing Brush or the Clone Stamp Tool rather than having to put in a lot more time and effort by doing it all ourselves.
